Jazz Fan Spotlight- Michelle Murray

Jazz Apples

Jazz apple fans often contact the Jazz HQ to wax lyrical about their favourite apple, ask where they can be bought or to enquire about the whereabouts of the mysterious Jazz Apple Man. However this month we received an email of a different sort from one ardent Jazz Fan, Michelle Murray from Liverpool. Michelle told us that she is a big fan of the Jazz apple and an avid reader of the newsletter but that she would like our help with a more serious matter.

Michelle is currently on a mission to raise money for Sands (Stillborn and Neonatal Charity) an organisation which aims to raise awareness of stillborn pregnancies. Unfortunately Michelle knows all to well the heartache behind this noble charity so is striving to raise awareness of the issues surrounding stillborn births.

It will probably surprise many people to know, that 17 babies are still born or die rapidly after birth every day in the UK. Currently Michelle has raised a tremendous £3,165.95 and is well on course to achieve her target of £5,000.

Here at Jazz HQ we urge all our devoted readers to click on the link below to read more about Michelle’s incredible journey and to donate whatever they can: http://www.justgiving.com/Isabella-Murray

All monies raised are used to help parents affected by the death of their baby and to fund medical research into these all too common tragedies and what causes them.
