JAZZ STEALS THE LIMELIGHT AT BBC GOOD FOOD
Jazz Apples, ‘The Apples with Bite’, once again stole the show at the recent BBC Good Food Show held at the Birmingham NEC with over 17,500 apples being bought and sampled in the 5 days.

With everything on offer at the show from the finest sausages to the most expensive champagne, it was the apples with attitude that really caused a buzz and excited the crowds.
The Jazz Tribe including English Jazz growers David Morton, Jeremy Linsell and Michael Bentley were all on hand to give free samples and show off this season’s fantastic English Jazz, while the Jazz Kitchen’s star chef Anne Ward cooked up some treats, demonstrating the versatility of the apple to visitors.
Dishes cooked included a gourmet gypsy toast for breakfast, a sizzling stir fry for lunch and the crowd’s favourite, a dazzling Prawn and Jazz Thai curry. Over 5000 recipe cards were taken by adventurous consumers and there was also huge interest for the Jazz Apple slicers with the 900 taken to the show selling out by lunchtime on the final day.
Jazz Apples Commercial Manager Gary Harrison said:
“Once again the BBC Good Food show was a great success. The footfall we had to the stand was incredible. At times we had 5 workers continuously chopping and we still had queues for samples. It was quite amazing!
“The feedback we got was fantastic and with the Jazz Kitchen producing some easy to make recipes, consumers were definitely impressed with the all-round ability of Jazz. Now we’re all looking forward to Taste of London next year although if you asked my feet at the moment, they would probably disagree!”
