What are we doing?
Jazz Apples is looking for ten sport enthusiasts with energy, attitude and potential to join us as a member of Team Jazz. If you want to take up our challenge, then read on.
Who are we looking for?
Individuals who would benefit from a sponsorship deal, everyone from a young BMXer or future Olympic hurdler, to an accountant who has just started BASE jumping. If you think you have what it takes, fill in the application form to tell us why!
What do you get?
We recognize that financial support is crucial to getting started no matter how much talent and drive you have. This is why the individuals chosen to join Team Jazz will receive cash sponsorship of £1,000 to put their dreams into action. The sponsorship also includes a little helping hand from a tailored publicity campaign, as well as a motivational trip to London to meet extreme athlete and TV personality, Tim Emmett.
Who is involved?
Ice and rock climbing extraordinaire Tim Emmett is renowned for astonishing sporting exploits. From speeding up mountains in climbing gear to his unforgettable race against Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson up France’s Verdon Gorge (Clarkson cheated, he used a car), Tim typifies what Team Jazz is all about. Whether he is climbing, snowboarding, surfing, scuba diving, kickboxing, sky diving or BASE jumping, Tim gives everything to ensure he performs to the outside limits of his potential.
How do you apply?
This unique sponsorship opportunity is open to sports people of all ages, experiences, disciplines and backgrounds. There are no limits – we don’t care how old you are, where you live or whether you are a boy or a girl – we just want your application form to scream “I’ve got what it takes” when we open it.
People can put themselves forward or nominate someone they know who fits the bill. Entrants do not need to be highly trained or experienced, but must have a certain kind of energy - a positive new outlook, passion, focus and above all else a will to win.
To be in chance of winning a place on Team Jazz and receive on-going support to help you reach the top, all you need to do is answer five straightforward questions on the entry form, including how you would use the money to realise your potential in your chosen discipline. All winners will be notified by phone and email and will feature on this website.
