Martin Morgan – Age 16 Tae Kwon-Do
At 16 Martin is already one of the top contenders for his age in his chosen sport. After taking gold in the British Championships in 2007 and becoming ranked number 4 in the world, Martin has his sights set on the 2009 World Championships and the 2012 Olympics. Through his work coaching and as a Young Olympic Ambassador, Martin aims to inspire, educate and encourage others to achieve personal excellence.
Update!
Unfortunately Martin is currently suffering from a back injury sustained in competition (an ambush by members of Cobra Kai). Despite what has been a massive dissapointment, Martin is making the most of a break from competing by dedicating more time to coaching Tae Kwondo and his commitments as a Youth Ambassador for 2012 and as a Sport in the Community volunteer. Keen to maintain his fitness he is also cycling regularly.
